The West Side Detroit Polish American Historical Society is thrilled to invite you, your family, and friends to our Thirteenth Annual Pilgrimage, Święconka, and Divine Mercy Devotions! This cherished event will take place in conjunction with Divine Mercy Sunday on April 27, 2025, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Garden City, Michigan.

- 4:00 PM – Święconka (Traditional Polish Easter Meal)
What to Expect
Święconka is a time-honored Polish Easter tradition, featuring a delicious meal that includes: Blessed Easter Eggs, Ham & Kiełbasa, Potato Salad, Tossed Salad, Rye Bread & Butter, Dessert, Coffee, Tea, Lemonade, & Water
The event will also feature a special Easter Blessing and Blessing of Easter Eggs by Rev. Gary Michalik, along with participation from Society Directors Rev. Canon Walter J. Ptak and Rev. Lawrence Zurawski, Pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, we will be entertained by accordionist Frank Urbiel, performing Polish Lenten and Easter music! 🎶
